For decades, K-12 educators have known that parental involvement is one of the most powerful drivers of student achievement and school performance. What has changed significantly in the world of K-12 education, however, is that new web-based technologies have made it possible for schools to increase parental involvement in ways that were simply impossible before – using cost-effective technology solutions that have broad, sweeping impact across all subject areas, all grade levels, and at all performance levels – truly transforming the learning community.

Vermilion Catholic now uses Renweb to foster communication between parents, students, and teachers. Teachers are able to share grade information with parents and students via Renweb, resulting in a better understanding of each student’s progress; lesson plans and activities are also available for viewing. The cost to use the web-based program is included in the registration fee. To obtain access codes and other log on information, please contact Kathy Langlinais in the VC office at 337-893-6636.

To Log in:

Click the link on our homepage (www.renweb.com)

Click ParentsWeb Login in the red box.
Type vchs-la for your School ID.
Click the Submit button.
Click the First Time Users tab if you have not logged in to RenWeb before. If you have, skip to Step 7.
Enter your email address that you provided to the school.
Click the New User button. You will receive an email containing your password within 3 minutes (to the email address you entered, which must be the same email address that you provided to the school).
Click the Parents tab.
Enter the password assigned.
Click the Parent Login button.
